This guide walks through adding a subscriber and giving them a subscription directly in the operator dashboard — no API required. Use it for phone/walk-in sign-ups or when you’re onboarding a customer on someone’s behalf.
You need the Subscribers permission (any sp_admin or a support/sales staff member with subscriber access). Everything here is scoped to your own provider account.

Where subscribers live

Open Subscribers from the sidebar. This is every customer linked to your provider, with their contact details, status, and subscriptions.

The Subscribers list

Add a subscription (and the subscriber, in one step)

You can create the subscriber inline while adding their subscription — you don’t have to create the person first.
1

Start a new subscription

Go to Subscriptions → New subscriber. If you’re already on a subscriber’s page, use Add subscription there to link it to that existing person.
2

Enter the subscriber's details

Fill in name, email, and (optionally) phone and address. If you’re linking an existing subscriber instead, pick them by ID.

3

Pick the plan

Choose a plan — the list shows each plan with its monthly price. The plan determines the speed and the wholesale product behind it.
4

Choose the service location

Pick by unit (a building unit — a home-drop that becomes Awaiting install and queues an install job) or by location hash / identifier (a wired switch port — the subscription stays Pending until you activate it).
A unit that already has an active or pending subscription can’t be double-booked — the form will stop you with a clear message.
5

Create it

Submit. The subscription is created as Pending install (home-drop) or Pending (wired port). No money moves and no port is activated until you activate the subscription.

What the statuses mean

Pending install

A home-drop with no wired port yet — an install job is queued. Track it under Pending Installs.

Pending

A wired port that’s ready — activate the subscription to provision it.

Active

Provisioned and billing normally.

Suspended

Paused — usually a billing issue.

Activate & provision

Open the subscription and choose Activate. For a wired port this provisions it (sets the VLAN + bandwidth on the switch) and starts billing. For a home-drop, provisioning happens once the install job is completed.
Active subscription detail
